Love Valley…its not for everyone

Love Valley…its not for everyone
Ok, first of all…Love Valley is a working horse town. I say “horse town” because to get in you either have to walk or ride a horse. A friend of mine and his band were playing at The Silver Spur Saloon so I decided to go. I camped out. There are plenty of places to camp…as long as you dont mind sharing the campground with horses. The people I met were super friendly and I had no problems catching rides into town…on golf carts, and even a horse drawn buggy one time. Had a blast at the Silver Spur and the food was much better than I expected. The Coop, next door, has cold beer and a pool table…and some very interesting characters. Love Valley is NOT a resort, theme park, or shopping Mecca. It simply is what it is; a little town for people that love a simpler way of life. If you DO have horses, then I highly recommend you go. If you just want to visit someplace off the beaten path in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina then definitely go check it out. If you would like more information check out their Facebook page, or drop me a message, I’d be happy to tell you more. By the way, Ive already gone back and plan to go every time my friends band plays at the “Spur”.
P.S.–> Be sure to bring your camera and boots or shoes you dont mind getting “messy”…did I mention its a horse town? Happy Trails
