I believe this is why mustangs are so captivating….. we once were similar to them. And their spirit, like a binding thread of gold which brings many of us together. They remind in nostalgic ways, how we ourselves once were- free and unfettered…. the days of long ago when we dreamt of the wild ones.
And somehow, they still bring forth the ‘wild child’ deep in our core, the curious adventurer who still thrives in the free exhilaration of what is a wild mustang.
To the child that is still wild and roams in you~ May your spirit always feel so free!

Near the safety of her mother Terra, little Rain still wet from a passing rain storm- shook it off and did a little sun dance.
Little Rain bucked and reared and pranced, and ran swift circles but never too far from her mother, as she tested her powerful mustang legs. It made my heart smile as she shook her imaginary long mane ‘like a wild mare or even stallion’ full of herself just before her mighty rear.
