My Everyday Makeup Routine

My Everyday Makeup Routine

I’m excited to share my daily makeup routine! I personally love seeing how others do their makeup, style their hair, or put together their outfits. While I’m no expert, I thought it would be fun to share my routine anyway!

I aim for a polished but natural look—enhancing my features without looking overly made up. My approach is similar to my clothing style: a mix of high-end and drugstore products, much like how I pair affordable jeans with designer shoes.

Time: Under 10 Minutes

It might seem like a lot of steps, but I keep it under 10 minutes. If I’m feeling impatient, I’ll skip bronzer, blush, or setting powder to keep things quick!

My Skin Type

Honestly, I’m not sure! I’ve been told I have combination skin—mostly normal with some oiliness in the t-zone.

Everyday Makeup Routine

1. Moisturizer

Not pictured in my routine, but I always start with moisturizer to prep my skin. Mine has SPF, which adds a slightly tacky texture that helps my foundation stay put.

2. Foundation: Make Up Forever HD Foundation

I apply foundation with a Beauty Blender, focusing first on my eyelids to even out discoloration. This foundation provides medium coverage and a natural finish, perfect for everyday wear.

3. Eyebrows: Anastasia Brow Powder

Eyebrows frame the face, so I always fill mine in! I use an angled brush with Anastasia Brow Powder in Dark Brown to define and extend my brows naturally.

4. Eyeshadow: Urban Decay Palette

I use a flat brush to apply a neutral base, then add depth with darker shades in my crease and outer corners. This palette has great pigmentation and blends smoothly.

5. Eyeliner: Maybelline Eyeliner

I dot along my lash line instead of drawing a solid line for a softer look, then smudge it with an angled brush.

6. Mascara: L’Oreal Mascara

I apply two coats, focusing on the base of my lashes to prevent smudging and create fuller-looking lashes.

7. Under Eye Corrector: Bobbi Brown

This peach-toned corrector helps counteract my dark circles. I dab two dots under each eye and blend with my finger before setting it with powder.

8. Spot Coverage: Maybelline Foundation Stick

I use this stick foundation around my nose and chin for extra coverage and to help my foundation last longer.

9. Setting Powder: elf Under Eye Setting Powder

A game-changer for keeping my under-eye corrector in place! It prevents creasing and lasts all day.

10. Bronzer: Benefit Bronzer

I lightly contour under my cheekbones and temples for warmth and definition.

11. Blush: NYX Blush

A subtle flush of color along my cheekbones for a natural glow.

12. Face Powder: NYC Setting Powder

I apply a light dusting to set everything in place. I’m considering trying Laura Mercier’s translucent setting powder next!

13. Setting Spray: elf Setting Spray

Instead of spritzing directly on my face, I apply it to my Beauty Blender and press it onto my skin. It helps everything stay put all day!
